Sankeien Garden

Introduction:

Sankeien is a spacious Japanese style garden in southern Yokohama which exhibits a number of historic buildings from across Japan. There is a pond, small rivers, flowers and wonderful scrolling trails that make you think you are in Kyoto rather than Yokohama.

TripAdvisor Review:

Our visit on March 27, 2015 was a bit early for full bloom but we did see a number of trees filled with pink cherry blossoms. We were a group of 9 ladies. I like the blissful ambience of the whole park and most especially our tea ceremony...

Get in:

From bus stop No. 1, take any of the buses numbered 58, 99 or 101 and get off in Honmoku.
