Sakura is the term used for the cherry blossom. This term is used for wide range of cherry related trees. Some of them does not produce fruits some of them does. This term comes from Japan. In the past, japanese people used to have picnics under the sakura or ume trees that were called Hanami.

 Hanami, or flower viewing, is the annual Japanese custom of enjoying the blooming foliage after the winter weather subsides. While hanami specifically refers to the blooming of cherry blossoms, many plan events around the one to two week period where nature flourishes with color and fragrances.

Covering an area of 190 hectares, the park features blooming flowers around the year.The park has become known for its baby blue-eyes flowers, with the blooming of 4.5 million of the translucent-petaled blue flowers in the spring drawing tourists. In addition to the annual "Nemophila Harmony", the park features a million daffodils, 170 varieties of tulips, and many other flowers. The park includes cycling trails and a small amusement park with a Ferris wheel.

Introduction:

The North-Eastern moat of the Imperial Palace known as Chidorigafuchi is one of the most famous cherry-blossom viewing spot in Tokyo. Crowds gather between Kudanshita and Hanzomon stations to contemplate the snow-white blossoms. Individual boats can be rented near Hanzomon.

Facts:

There is also a boat pier in Chidorigafuchi. Looking up at the cherry blossoms from the water surface is particularly inspiring. In addition to the cherry blossom season, Chidorigafuchi can be enjoyed throughout the year, with a different appearance each season.

Our visit on March 27, 2015 was a bit early for full bloom but we did see a number of trees filled with pink cherry blossoms. We were a group of 9 ladies. I like the blissful ambience of the whole park and most especially our tea ceremony...

Matsumoto Castle's tower is the oldest surviving Japanese structure with five external levels and six internal stories. Next to this impressive main tower is a smaller tower to which the main tower is connected by a roofed passageway. The castle's buildings have been designated a national treasure.

Matsumoto castle’s origins go back to the Sengoku period. At that time Shimadachi Sadanaga of the Ogasawara clan built a fort on this site in 1504 which was originally called Fukashi Castle. In 1550 it came under the rule of the Takeda clan and then Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Introduction:

Toyama Bay is a bay located on the northern shores of Honshu, Japan. The bay borders Toyama and Ishikawa prefectures. The bay is known for the mirages on the horizon during the winter months and for being a spawning ground for the firefly squid.It is also one of Japan's three largest bays

They can be boarded at a bus stop outside the west exit of Shinjuku Station or outside the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. Introduction:
Fukuroda Fallsare located in Ibaraki Prefecture in the town of Daigo , district Fukuroda  has its source spring just above the falls. The river flows through the falls and ultimately joins a major Kuji river
The width of the falls is 73 m, while the height reaches 120 m. During winter the falls may freeze. The falls are ranked as the third most beautiful waterfall in Japan, coming after Kegon Falls.

During the summer it is framed with thick, green foliage; in the winter it partially freezes into a delicate glass sculpture; the spring brings new flowers and increased volume from rains; but the added contrast of the red leaves in autumn against the coursing water definitely increases its popularity by quite a margin.
